Traditional Origami Magic Boat

Difficulty level: Very Easy Time to fold 2 min. 12 steps. Folded from a one classic Magenta and White Single Uncut square paper, about 20cm x 20 cm.

You may use any kind of paper to fold the origami magic boat. It is a little easier if the front and the back side of the paper are slightly different whether it be in texture or color.

As you can see, the mainsail of the boat is shown on the left picture. Ask your friend to grab the mainsail. Ask your friend to close her/his eyes.After she/he grabs the mainsail, prepare to apply two valley-folds. Apply two valley-folds. Now, the one that your friend grabbed is no longer the mainsail. You has just preformed a magic in front of your friend. This is how the name “Magic Boat” labled to this origami boat.
